Stephanie H. Burton
Some attorneys are litigators – they take depositions, serve and respond to discovery, and ultimately settle cases. While Stephanie recommends settlements when the terms are favorable or when the cost/benefit analysis warrants settlement to the firm’s clients, Stephanie is a trial lawyer with extensive trial experience. A Southpaw brawler in the courtroom, Stephanie has tried more than 50 cases in state and federal courts and in arbitration proceedings. Stephanie has tried bet-the-company, multi-party, multi-million-dollar cases.

Larry E. Gregg, II
Larry earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Political Science from the University of South Carolina Upstate. He then earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the Charlotte School of Law in North Carolina. Licensed to practice law in South Carolina, Larry has made valuable contributions to Gibbes Burton since joining the firm in 2020. He works to protect the interests of architects, engineers, contractors, governmental entities, and individuals. Passionate about the law, Larry cares about his clients’ best interests and the favorable resolution of their legal matters. Lee Simpson
A Spartanburg native, Lee brings a local perspective and a service-oriented mindset to his practice. Lee joined Gibbes Burton in 2021 as a legal project coordinator before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. His transition from a valued staff member to an Attorney reflects his commitment to the firm’s mission and his dedication to providing rigorous legal representation for his clients.
